We welcome carcinoid and neuroendocrine disease survivors, families and friends of survivors, medical professionals, or anyone else interested in lifting the mystery on this disease and improving the care patients receive. The main purpose of this page is to promote the work of The Healing NET Foundation in our mission to advocate for the best possible care of NET patients. Our Chief Medical Advisor Dr. Eric Liu provides posts on neuroendocrine/carcinoid education and poses questions to inspire further thinking and education. We encourage comments and stories about NET experiences to be shared with others. We are not a medical provider or affiliated with any hospital or health organization. Dr. Liu will offer general information in regards to specific concerns, but is not able to provide any medical advice or diagnosis as it is not appropriate or legal on this site.

We are a not for profit 501c3 dog rescue that specializes in the rescue of giant breed working dogs. All our dogs are in private foster homes. We are a 501c3 not for profit dog rescue. Our dogs are spread out across many states, all east of the Mississippi. We have over twenty coordinators whose jobs include foster coordination, adoption coordinators, transport coordinators, and a range of volunteers who perform administrative tasks and the many tasks related to the care of animals. We place dogs from the South to the New England area, including all states along the way and nearby. We also place in the Ohio Valley into Wisconsin and Illinois. We have recently added TX and Louisiana. We do not place outside our area except in the rarest of cases.
