The Homeowner Project’s main goal is to help families reach their goal of homeownership through a traditional mortgage or a Rent to Own. Day 1 (each of you) is the first step, our goal is assess the client’s credit situation and goals, and to qualify them for Lexington Law to get the credit score up. Now Lexington cannot do all the work, so that brings in Day 2. The second step specialist will educate the clients on the importance of keeping a good credit score. They will also help the clients add positive credit to further assist them at getting credit qualified. Once they have a minimum credit score of 640 with no negative items you will be handed to Day 3. The third and final step it to get the client to the lenders to get them pre-approved so they can start home shopping. The first step is for us to know exactly where you’re at with your credit. The good thing about a Rent to Own as long as you’re willing to work on your credit the homeowners are apt to work with you. That way while you are working on your credit you are already in your home. Once your credit is where it needs to be we will get you over to the lenders that way you can get the mortgage on that Rent to Own.
