Description

The Leicestershire Advice Service for Social Care is an independent service recently commissioned by Leicestershire County Council and delivered by LCPT (formerly Leicestershire Community Projects Trust, registered charity number 512719). This is a free and confidential service that provides advice about adult social care and support services in the County of Leicestershire and how to access them. Anybody can use this service to find out about the services that are appropriate for them, or to ask on behalf of somebody else who may require social care services. We provide information on services provided by Leicestershire County Council and other relevant organisations such as those in the voluntary sector.

The Advice Service is of vital importance to anyone in Leicestershire County with a social care need. Our aim is to support people in maintaining maximum choice and control in their lives. We are very keen to publicise the advice service to all residents of the County of Leicestershire so that they are able to access the service as and when required, allowing us to provide necessary information to individuals to aid their decision making during challenging periods in their lives.
