About me - I'm Caroline, a former jewellery valuer, gemmolgist and diamond grader. Now a mother of 3 (age 8, 6 and 3) who couldn't quite give up working with jewellery so turned her hobby into a little business! Please read these very carefully carefully. You may have other rights granted by law and my Terms and Conditions do not affect these in any way The following terms and conditions apply to all orders placed with The Little Silver Jewellery Company. The placement of an order indicates your acceptance of these terms and conditions. Please read them carefully. They are in complaince with Consumer Contract Rules and Regulations 2014 These terms and conditions do not affect your statutory rights. To order goods you must be at least 18 years of age and accept delivery within the UK. I will treat each order for goods as an offer by you to purchase the goods subject to these terms and conditions. Lead Time Each piece of jewellery is either hand made or assembled then hand stamped, polished and packaged. No work will begin on your order until full payment is received. Please allow 3 weeks for the creation and postage of your item. At busy periods orders may take a little longer but equally often they are quicker - if you have a shorter deadline please let me know and I will try my best to help. How to order Please order through the this page until my website is complete. A large proportion of my orders are bespoke, one-off pieces so if you have an idea please do contact me to discuss it . I am more than happy to answer any questions or give advice. Description of Goods All descriptions and images are as accurate a representation of the items available as possible but as handmade items, no two will be exactly the same. Similarly, components used may vary according to availability. Pricing The total price payable for the goods will be stipulated at the time when you place your order whether or not the order has been confirmed. I am entitled to make adjustments to the price due to an error or omission or if the price published for the goods is wrong, whether or not the order has been confirmed. I will inform you of the correct price and give you the opportunity to cancel the order. All prices are inclusive of VAT but exclusive of delivery charges which will be payable as indicated at the time of placing your order. Metal prices are volatile so published prices may be subject to change, especially if price information refers to a photo of an order completed some time ago. All photos are of customer orders - a photo doesn't guarantee I can still make a similar item as some components may no longer be available. Stamping Information PLEASE NOTE THAT THE TEXT IS HAND STAMPED NOT MACHINE ENGRAVED AND IS SUPPOSED TO BE UNEVEN AND SLIGHTLY QUIRKY ADDING TO THE CHARM. I use several different font stamps and unless otherwise asked, will use the one I deem most appropriate for your piece. If you have a preference please do say. Packaging - all items are wrapped in tissue then placed in a pouch. Returns/Refunds/Cancellations Once your order is placed you have a 24 hour period in which to cancel if necessary. After this period if personalisation of your jewellery has already begun you will not be able to cancel your order. Due to the bespoke personalisation of my jewellery it is non returnable. However if you are unhappy for any reason I will do my best to accommodate. I want you to love your jewellery! If a mistake has been made on my part (EG incorrect spelling) I will of course correct the error or refund if required In the case of non-personalised items, If you are not totally satisfied with your purchase for any reason, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 working days (unless personalised). It is your responsibility to return any such items in a pristine saleable condition in their original box and packaging. You will be wholly responsible for the return of the goods and any associated costs of return. Goods received back incomplete, damaged or in any condition other than saleable, will not be refunded.If you wish to return any products, please contact me within 14 days from the date of delivery.If you do not return goods within 14 days after you have informed me that you wish to cancel your order, your right to cancel will be revoked.. If goods arrive in a damaged condition it is your responsibility to inform me within 14 days from delivery. This will include sending photographic evidence for myself to inspect. If there are any shortages it is your responsibility to notify me within 14 days from delivery. It is your responsibility to notify me of any in-correct goods supplied within 14 days from delivery.Mistakes made on your part will not be refunded or replaced.Mistakes made by myself will either be refunded or replaced. I will not accept liability for goods lost in transit unless I am notified within 14 days from the expected delivery date. Any items that appear to have been signed for will no longer be my responsibility. Postage All UK orders over £35 will be sent standard royal mail recorded delivery at £3. For orders over £35 I use Special Delivery £6 which is tracked & insured. All European and Worldwide parcels will be sent via royal mail Airsure. Although this is a trackable service there is no guaranteed delivery date. Please note that I have no control over any customs or import duties that could be levied when the package reached your destination country and for which you might be liable. Cleaning and care Polish jewellery with a clean jewellery microfibre polishing cloth avoiding any gold plated areas. Do not spray perfume or other solvents on to jewellery. Always store your jewellery carefully after wearing. Do not use silver dips. Do not wear in the shower, in bed or whilst swimming. Payment I email a Paypal invoice which can be paid by card (Visa, Mastercard or Switch) or Paypal or you can send me a cheque (message me for my address) although please be aware that paying by cheque may delay your order. I will only ship to the address on the Paypal payment, shipping to another address will void the protection given by Paypal.
