The lashes are virtually weightless; they do not affect your eyes at all- except to enhance and make you feel fabulous of course! As the lashes are attached to your natural lash they fall off with the natural shedding and cycle of your lashes, so to keep your lashes looking tip top and full it is recommended to have them infilled every 2-3 weeks.
