The Louisiana SPCA is a private 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to the elimination of animal suffering. Chartered in 1888, we are the oldest and most comprehensive animal welfare organization in the state, providing care and basic medical services for thousands of homeless and unwanted animals each year. Through aggressive adoption programs, high volume/affordable spay/neuter, and humane education we offer the best possible scenario to re-home our adoptable animals and combat pet overpopulation.
