The Festival is the greatest gathering of hounds in the country, with over 1,500 hounds from over 100 packs represented. This year’s show will include: - Foxhounds, Harriers, Beagles, Bloodhounds, Draghounds and Basset Hounds. - Display of Fell Hounds and Coursing Dogs - Outdoor hound rings - Inter-Hunt Team Relays - Over 100 Specialist Trade Stands - First Class Catering and Speciality Local Food Producers

Welcome to the Official Facebook Page for the Peterborough Festival of Hunting, organised by the Peterborough Royal Foxhound Show Society, The Association of Masters of Harriers & Beagles and the East of England Agricultural Society. The greatest gathering of hounds in the country takes place at The Festival of Hunting at The East of England Showground, Peterborough on Wednesday 19th July 2017. The Festival of Hunting is now recognised as the annual showcase for the world of hunting. Hounds representing over 100 packs from across the UK will be at the Peterborough venue for this annual celebration. The Festival of Hunting encompasses the 127th Peterborough Royal Foxhound Show – two leading events bringing hunting supporters together to meet socially and witness the very best hounds currently being bred in the country. The Festival demonstrates the on-going support for hunting and its most precious asset – the working hound. Displays of Harriers, Beagles, Basset Hounds, Drag Hounds and Terriers will take place. Fell, Stag Hounds and coursing dogs will also be attending. In addition, there will be the ever-popular Inter-Hunt Senior and Junior Team Relays. Two opposing teams race against the clock over a mirror image set of fences - with Hunts from all over the country, this is a very fiercely fought contest. A wide range of specialist trade stands in fashion, catering and fresh local produce will be available for visitors to enjoy. Our date for our show next year is Wednesday 19th July 2017.
