The Marine Travel Company handles travel needs for the shipping, marine and offshore industries. We are based in Canterbury, Kent. We are also founding partners of a global alliance MTA7. Created by six highly service minded strategically placed marine travel companies and between us we have over 120 marine fare contracts, making us more competitive than any other alliance. We hold IATA and ATOL accreditations and are members of the Advantage Focus Partnership, a group of over 80 leading independent agents with a combined buying power of over £480 million in the UK on flights alone, which enables us to obtain some of the best air fares available in the marketplace. In addition to providing flight reservations, other services include; car hire, hotels, UK & continental rail reservations including Eurostar and Eurotunnel, major ferry operators, national express coach reservations and passport and visa information. We can offer 1000’s of preferred hotel & car hire rates around the world through the WYN hotel rate programme. Within the UK we offer ‘HotelPort’ our database of UK & Irish hotels, in all major UK & Irish ports. Our marine fare programme is extensive and we have negotiated marine and offshore rates with the world’s leading airlines, as well as strategic and regional airlines. We are constantly adding to our portfolio of airlines and in addition to our marine fares can offer some of the best economy, premium economy and business class in the UK marketplace. Working with our MTA7 global alliance partners we have access to over 120 marine and offshore airline contracts across the globe. We also make reservations for ‘No Frills Carriers’ such as; Easyjet and Wizz Air. We have invested in software that simultaneously searches all fare and availability web-sites for the lowest possible prices and provides us with an instant comparison for more than 45 carriers world-wide. All bookings can be viewed at www.viewtrip.com or www.checkmytrip.com by entering your Galileo or Amadeus booking reference and the passenger surname. This allows you to view or track any changes made to the passenger itinerary or email the itinerary to a third party. Our emergency out-of-hours service is manned by our own staff who have daily knowledge of our clients and their individual needs and who have immediate access to all bookings and information.
