Congratulations to the Maritime Academy Class of 2015! We are so proud of you.
Parents: We have extended the enrollment fee waiver through the rest of May. Please reserve your spot for your Cadet as last year we filled up quickly and had to turn some students away. Also, there are summer school forms available at the Helm. We offer summer school for $50. Most other programs are well over $100.
Prom tickets are now on sale. See Ms.Robertson for details!
Parents: Yesterday we sent home a letter that discussed enrollment for next year and a family fun night this Thursday. Please call the helm with questions. If you enroll your student by May 15th you will have your $50 enrollment fee waived!

Good Morning, We had a very successful day of Parent/ Teacher conferences yesterday and will continue that today. I am very honored to have your children entrusted to us and I am happy you are part of our educational family. Each one of you are a welcomed member of this school and together we will make it the best school in Northwest Ohio. Thank you, Aaron Lusk-Principal
A reminder... Parent Teacher Organization meeting is on Wednesday October 21st at 5:30. Parent Teacher conferences are Thursday and Friday so there will be no school. Please contact the helm to schedule a conference.
Dear Parents, Please remember that here at the Maritime Academy the male cadets are not permitted to have earrings so please do not take your son to get his ears pierced or they will have to be removed. For female cadets please remember that hair styles must be conservative in nature and cannot be dyed eccentric colors. Our vision consists of a school that is a model for all other schools where students learn discipline but are still able to be themselves. Your help in this matter will be greatly appreciated. Thank you, Aaron Lusk-Principal
The first Parent meeting is scheduled for Wednesday October 21st at 5:30. We will develop our Parent Teacher Organization.
The Parent meeting scheduled for today will have to be rescheduled for a different day as I had another situation come up. I am sorry for any inconvenience. Aaron Lusk-Principal
This is a reminder that if The Maritime Academy of Toledo is closed for any reason you will receive an automated message from the school and you can also watch your local news channels 11, 13 and 24 for up to date school closings. Our school is NOT a Toledo public school and we do not follow their school closings. Please be aware that our closing will be listed under The Maritime Academy of Toledo. If you have any questions please contact the Helm at 419-244-9999 Thank you Aaron Lusk-Principal
If you are interested in joining our Parent Teacher Organization PTO we will have our first meeting on October 14th at 5:30 PM. I will also give a tutorial on how to login to PowerSchool.
Tutorials for the parent PowerSchool login are available at the helm. I will also post it on the website as soon as possible.
Tomorrow, 10/02/2015, midterm reports will be sent home with each cadet. If you have a question about a grade please contact the specific teacher.
High School students are welcome to stay for the after school program as long as they arrange it ahead of time with one of the teachers. This allows us to have a list of students who are staying after school and prevents wandering and unwanted behaviors.
If you are a parent that would like to use the Powerschool Parent Portal to see your son/daughter's grades I will be posting a tutorial soon that will explain and guide you through the process.
