Who we are? Who doesn’t love meatballs right? Tender, juicy nuggets of meat, flavoured with punchy herbs and spices and swathed in a rich sauce. Almost every culture has their version, each conjuring up nostalgic childhood memories. They can be made with beef, pork, chicken, fish or dare we say it - they can even be vegetarian. Serve them any way, on pasta, rice, in a tortilla, on skewers. Here at The Meatball Sandwich Bar we love them piled into a fresh crusty baguette, bathed in a rich sauce and topped with cheese. But let’s face it – they are delicious however you like them. So The Meatball Sandwich Bar is bringing its range of meatballs to you this summer. Whether you like a Classic Beef Meatball with Rich Tomato Sauce or a Buffalo Chicken Meatball with Ranch, or even be brave enough to try our Smokin’ Chilli Balls? Whatever your choice, we’ve definitely got the balls for you. Why we do it? We feel the time has come for the humble meatball to step from the shadows and realise its full potential. We had grown tired of the endless burger bars, the bland sausage sizzle or those dubious red hotdogs. We wanted to eat something with well, balls! We wanted a snack that bursts with flavour, a snack that leaves you feeling satisfied, not guilty or cheated. We wanted a snack that had been lovingly prepared, using zingy, fresh ingredients whose flavours blew our minds. But when we couldn’t find what we wanted, we decided to create them ourselves – meatballs! How we do it? We make our balls using the finest ingredients. We buy all our delicious bread from our friends Andrew and Robbie at the Woodfired Baker in Maylands. Our meatballs are roasted not fried. Our sauces are all made from scratch. All that remains for you to do is try to decide which combination you want to try first and we’ll do the rest. Where we do it?
