The Muze is a community focused business aimed at providing a welcoming, non-competitive and vibrant environment which fosters community through dance! Our Vision: A city that values and actively engages in dance as an expressive, social and creative art form. Our Mission: To create a dance and living arts community hub that provides classes, workshops and opportunities for all ages, abilities and backgrounds. To provide a warm non-judgemental place for all members of our community to train, create, and experience the social, physical and artistic benefits of dance in a non-competitive atmosphere.

Description

We believe dance has the power to inspire, build community, connect the mind and body, and aid in creative, societal and personal transformation. We welcome people of all shapes, sizes and abilities while encouraging self-exploration and creativity. We do this by providing a variety of registered and drop-in classes and workshops aimed at exploring movement and act as a hub for other dance, movement and living arts initiatives. As a collaborative living arts studio we will convene classes, events and workshops for inter-generational participants in contemporary dance, arts and movement for fitness, expression and community gathering. The Müze will serve as an incubator where creative ideas are manifest into action through collaborations with experts in the field of dance and the living arts and to people who love to move and create. Training, creation, and performance are avenues to recognize that the living arts are an essential resource to gather people so we can share our ideas, passions and humanity.
