The OBJ returns under new management. The ongoing refurbishment has started with a lick of paint but future plans will include: - A superb new cocktail menu designed by our Bar Manager Steve, who has over 15 years’ experience knocking out the best Mojitos you've ever tasted. - Guest Ales will remain, as well as a range of craft bottles stocked in our fridges. - More live music than ever before. Sunday Jazz will be back soon as we know this was not only entertainment, but a vital community event as well. Bands will feature most weekends, bringing you some of the country’s hottest new acts before they break, aswell as the best local talent. - DJs, keeping it eclectic at all times. Reggae, Soul, Hip Hop, Funk, Rock, Indie, 50s Jump Rock, 80s electronica. You name it. Look out for special guest appearances too. - Guest caterers will be taking residence in our kitchen. We could be serving Cajun one month and Japanese the next, so you'll never get bored of what we’re offering! - A Tiki garden will be constructed in our beer garden. Better seating, more entertainment, better lighting. A tropical experience in Newcastle under Lyme! - The Curated Jukebox. We will be asking friends, customers, special guests, anyone with a passion for music to curate our Jukebox. Starting with our resident DJs and staff, who will no doubt piece together the best jukebox in town! There will be a few famous names lined up to curate the tunes as well, and we’ll post the story behind their choices on here for you all to read. - A brand new stage. For dancing on, and performing on!
