At The Old School House our primary aim is to provide a safe,secure,educational and fun filled environment for your children.

Description

The Old School House is situated on the outskirts of Hillsborough in a semi-rural setting; the building was the original old school serving the local community in the Newport area, hence the title of the complex. The Old School House has been providing childcare since 1995. Our facility is currently registered for forty five children between the baby unit,main nursery and pre school and a further twenty children in our Out of School Club in Culcavy and twenty four in our Out of School Club at the Village Center in Hillsborough which is attached to Downshire Primary School in Hillsborough. The Old School House is registered with the South Eastern Health Trust, our staff are qualified and through continuous training ensure our plans incorporate all areas of the early years curriculum to ensure all round development and opportunities for learning for all children attending The Old School House. We pride ourselves on the reputation we have in the local area and with local schools. So with this in mind, we continually encourage staff to participate in any appropriate courses or training off site ensuring competence and consistency in our specialized field of work.
