The People’s Mosquito has a simple vision: to restore a de Havilland DH.98 Mosquito to British skies. The project is a registered charity and reflects the public movement seen during the Second World War when many aircraft were funded by the people: companies, towns, villages and organisations. We plan to replicate that model by asking the people of the United Kingdom to help us restore this magnificent aircraft to flight in the UK, to serve as a memorial to the spirit, innovation in design and above all the courage of our nation. The People’s Mosquito team and it's supporters have come together in a traditionally British way to attempt to achieve something from nothing. Now we have an airframe our plan is firmly set to start turning that into a flying Mosquito. If you don't wish to contribute financially, please help us by spreading the word at every opportunity. Harnessing British engineering expertise, we aim to restore an icon of British aeronautical design here in the UK and return a de Havilland Mosquito to UK skies.
