The Largest Association of Young Riders in the World! The Pony Club is ‘the’ starting point for any young person who wants to learn how to ride and care for horses and ponies. Membership is open to anyone under the age of 25, with or without their own pony and offers a range of benefits, including training in how to both care for and ride a pony correctly. Many equine athletes started their careers in The Pony Club, and this was highlighted at London 2012 when 11 of those selected to represent the equestrian disciplines at London 2012 had Pony Club credentials; as well of one of those selected to represent Modern Pentathlon
'The' Starting place for anyone up to the age of 25 who wants to learn about horses and riding and take part in competitions - with or without a horse or pony of their own! • To encourage young people to ride and to learn to enjoy all kinds of sport connected with ponies and riding. • To give instruction in riding and horsemastership and to educate Members to look after and to take proper care of their animals. • To promote the highest ideals of sportsmanship, citizenship and loyalty and to create strength of character and self-discipline.
