Hey friends, we are getting ready to start the process of identifying 12-14 kids for next year's Project Endure Trek 1 to the Colorado Rockies. As former TPS students and/or current Libertas students, your kiddos have first priority. Message me back if you are interested and I'll let you know what next steps are. Pass this on to any former students finishing 6-7th grade this year. In Adventure, Tarrey

All, Today the judge ruled against The Project School. My sincere hope is that there isn't a room at the City County Building filled with people cheering...but given what my eyes have been opened to in the last two weeks, I have no confidence that isn't true. Ultimately, the judge ruled that the law, as written, gives the mayor the authority to do what he did. I am struggling for words. I am embarrassed and disgusted that I live in a city where this could/did happen. I am sad, angry, confused...and sick about this and the events that led to this. We were taken by surprise and our school was shut down using inaccurate and incomplete data and evidence, 3 years early, and 3 weeks before school was supposed to start. This should not have happened. I feel so much despair for what you and your families...my family has gone through and will go through in the days to come. You have been inspiring...truly inspiring...the way you came together...the way you fought...your stories...your words. I AM NOT DONE. I promised that I would teach this year and teach I will. We cannot let all schools like ours get stamped out like this with no warning and no way to re-charter. I ask that you send me an email if you are one that is interested in being part of what ever I put together for this year. I have no idea what it will look like, but I will teach this year...that is a promise. Do not give up this fight. It is time to mourn the lose of this battle, but we cannot be done. There are other ways to keep going and other ways to hold this mayor accountable for what he did. Understand that I am not done, nor should you be. With Resolve... Tarrey

All, we spent today waiting. Our attorneys were ready and waiting to head to court. The Mayor filed his reply to our injunction at 6:00 not giving us any time to do anything today. Our attorneys have already filed our response to their reply and are ready to argue in court if they get the chance tomorrow. As always I will keep you posted on anything. Keep up the fight...keep up the resistance. Did the Mayor respond to your demands?

Tonight the TPS families publicly demanded a meeting with your Mayor. Watch on Channel 6 and 13. They have given him until Tuesday to respond. It was inspiring to see them organize themselves on the spot. They are a well-oiled activist machine.

TPS Supporters: Your support through this fight has been an inspiring act of community and activism. We are preparted to take this fight to court in an effort to overturn Mayor Ballard's revocation of our charter. We are currently accepting donations to sustain this legal battle. Our legal team are working tirelessly at a very reduced rate, but fees will still be incurred. All donations are tax deductible and will be placed in a restricted account to only be used for their intended purpose of fighting this battle. Every penny will help. Please consider donating to our cause. Thank you for all of your support. http://www.razoo.com/story/Project-School-Incorporated
