Don't forget about our Pizza Study Break today in the Library's Corcoran room at 5:30!
If you still wanted to hear Bamby Salcedo (an internationally known transgender activist) speak and missed the QLA leaving the law school to walk over, the event still has seats, starts at 5, and is being held in the Archer Building, Munce Conference Room (A110).
If anyone is interested in going to hear Bamby Salcedo speak we will meet at 4:35pm in the Law School Lobby and walk over together.
Hopefully we will see you all at Sidebar tonight for our monthly social starting at 5:30!
The QLAunch is canceled today because of our event later. Hopefully we all will see you for the LGBTQ in Law event in the Library at 5!
Hey everyone! City on a Hill is running a program that allows Juniors to participate in a Corporate Shadowing Day on Thursday, November 19th. The event allows participating students to shadow professionals in various for-profit career fields, complimenting the nonprofit and government sector component of City Project. They are currently working to secure hosts, and I am hoping some of you might have family or friends who would be willing to participate. As of now, they need volunteers in the medical, STEM, legal, entertainment, and marketing/public relations industries. If any of you are interested or would like more information please contact Leigh Carey at email@example.com. Please include the name of your company, your professional field, your office location, and the number of students you would like to host. You can really make a difference in these lives, just by taking the time to talk more about your profession. If you are able to participate, please do. I appreciate your time and attention. Thank you!
We have our film screening of "Paris is Burning" today at 3:30pm in Sargent 295! Hope to see you there!
This week we have the QLAunch again on Thursday at 1pm in the Law School Dining Hall (on the fourth floor)! Please drop by and say hello to the QLA!
