We are an online-based organization that uses the power of technology and the internet to help refugees and immigrants build new lives in the U.S. The RCO has three program areas: Resources, Online Classroom and Community The local Resource database connects refugees and immigrants to resources in their own communities through searchable lists, making it easier for newcomers to access the services they need when the need them. RCO Online classroom includes a free, easy to use GED preparation and citizenship preparation courses. Our classes are designed to be translated into the most common first languages of newcomers. Studies show an increase in user comprehension and speed of knowledge acquisition among those learning in their first language. The community program – our online forums are intended to connect newcomer communities with one another and to serve as a bridge to the mainstream community.
