The Project- RISE and Dine: People Feeding People RISE and Dine is a hands-on giving project that mirrors the true spirit of Reno. Three Saturdays a month, our team invites volunteers throughout the community to cook their favorite recipes and serve dinner to hundreds of locals without a home. The RISE and Dine project is a truly unique do-it-yourself experience that allows you to connect and interact with people and families in need. Don't miss this great community potluck!

Here's how you can get involved: (1) Sign Up and Serve with RISE! Make your favorite home-cooked meal, side dish, dessert, or beverage. Then join us to serve your food with love to hundreds of Reno locals in need! We meet at the Community Assistance Center at 335 Record Street. Visit for more information and to sign up for an available Saturday. (2) Contribute Much-Needed Items! Find our donation bins at one of our partner locations to drop-off your goods. Visit for more information. (3) Donate Online! Every $5.00 you donate will feed dinner to FIFTEEN homeless locals in need. How? Because we shop smart, frugally, and resourcefully. Visit to donate.
