We are an independent music school in Tucson, AZ. Teaching students how to ROCK! VOICE, GUITAR, PIANO, Song-Writing, & Music Theory lessons, etc.

Description

Sarah Fire is the Headmaster, owner and founder of The Schoolhouse of Rock, LLC. She began teaching private music lessons when she was 16 years old in Sea Bright, New Jersey. After attending Columbia University, completing her tutelage with her piano teacher (the famed Juliard Graduate, Mary Seba) and finishing her vocal studies with the Director of the New Jersey Repertory Opera, Dita Dellman, Sarah then went on to play in a successful rock band out of New York City for 8 years before moving to Tucson. Having an acclaimed background in classical music and training and then becoming the lead singer, songwriter, guitarist and keyboardist of a successful rock band was a challenging transition, to say the least. However, having met that challenge with enthusiasm and dedication Sarah was then inspired to strive to combine both schools of music in her teaching approach. She is an avid believer in exposing children to music as early as possible. Having spent well over a decade honing her teaching skills, she is a phenomenal, intuitive teacher with the rare ability to motivate and encourage her students through positive reinforcement and inspiration. * We believe that children and adults should be given the opportunity to learn about music in a positive, comfortable, relaxed, and inspiring environment. * We believe everyone can learn how to ROCK. * We believe that effective music education provides a STRONG foundation for scholastic and professional excellence while improving emotional stability. Instead of forcing our students to learn a specific style of music we believe our students should be allowed to choose what they want to learn without restrictions. We also offer low cost, high fidelity recording packages as well as offering rentable studio space for recording YouTube and Facebook videos to help promote students, bands and artists.
