The Scotch Arms Mews is a Bed & Breakfast in Brampton Cumbria. We have 10 luxury rooms and a relaxing bar area where Walkers, Bikers, Cyclists , Business people or just weary travellers can engage in a social drink, have somewhere to rest their head and bed & breakfast if need be. The Scotch Arms Mews is the only bed and breakfast in Brampton of it’s kind, near Carlisle in Cumbria. We are ideally placed right next to the historic Hadrian’s Wall, Lanercost Priory and a short drive from other historic locations like Carlisle Castle, The Lake District, Vindolanda, Talkin Tarn, the Scottish Borders, and the North Pennines . If you are just passing through, then stop for a drink or stay over in our bed and breakfast with us if your visit is for longer. We are located very close to the A69 and the M6 with easy access to these roads and the City of Carlisle. We have a one of a kind Historic well in the middle or our bar and an ancient salt oven,which was very, very rare in past times. We have 10 guest rooms available with TV, Free Wi-Fi, en-suite bathrooms and comfy beds to sleep in. There is free on site parking and laundry facilities available. We have also just completed a self contained apartment for weekly rent (The Mews).
