Description
The Shining Tree is a small arts organisation and was founded by an organisation which is a C.I.C. (a Community Interest Company, a regulated form of Social Enterprise). The Shining Tree's primary social mission is to foster and champion the careers of our core beneficiaries: artists and makers who are based in Cumbria and Scotland. The Shining Tree aim to explore: Collaborative, cross-border cultural relationships between Cumbria and Scotland. Cultural engagement within the local community in West Cumbria; helping to promote West Cumbria as an extraordinary part of Cumbria in which to practice. Relationship building between The Shining Tree, artists and makers and our local community. For example: collaborations, events and exhibitions.
