Description

At the Southern School of Beauty Therapy, based in the Hampshire countryside, we offer expert tuition and a wide choice of courses, including holistic therapies, beauty specialist and complete nail technician. We now cover the application of the latest trend 'Minx' on our nail art course. We pride ourselves on our friendly, supportive learning environment, combined with the opportunity to obtain internationally recognised qualifications. Upon successful completion of any of our 1- 3 day beauty training courses, you will be awarded the Southern School of Beauty Therapy Diploma. This will enable you to join one of the recognised professional bodies to whom we are accredited - such as The Guild of Professional Beauty Therapists. This membership will provide you with newsletters, advertising and tickets to trade shows plus insurance which means that you can start working and earning - with most self-employed therapists this is anywhere between £20 to £50 an hour. Because we are VTCT (Vocational Training Charitable Trust) registered, you also have the option of going on to take the further NVQ qualification in most subjects. You can take individual units of an NVQ or the Complete Level & NVQ Diploma in Beauty Therapy General, the Complete Level 2 NVQ Diploma Nail Services or, from January, the Complete Level 3 NVQ Diploma in Beauty Therapy Massage. With a maximum of 6 students (8 for nail art), you can be sure of plenty of individual help and attention from our qualified and professional staff. Also, because we don't have any minimum numbers, you can relax in the knowledge that your course will go ahead, even if you are the only student. We deliver a comprehensive learning experience in a friendly and relaxed environment. Our spacious and well equipped school is based in a small village in Hampshire, just 5 minutes from Junction 3 of the A3M. We have ample free parking and we are about one hour from Heathrow and Gatwick airports. We also offer a full back up service, so that if you should have any problems at any time after completing your course, you may always contact us for help and advice.
