Description

This section currently under construction. We are a not-for-profit collective dedicated to the development, preservation, and betterment of modern Canadian artistic culture through it's citizen's attitudes towards and production of art. The Collection currently offers ISBN numbers to those wishing to publish e-books, as well as peer editing and archival services, though we aim to become much more as the Collection grows. Art can change a person's life, and if you are an artist you know this first hand. Part of the goal of the Collection is to provide Canadians with an outlet to share their personal work with the world, whether it is written, musical, static visual, or pictures in motion. To this end, all art submitted to the Collection must be made available to the public in one form or another free of charge, though that in no way means that the artist cannot make money off of their labours: members are encouraged to sell copies of their artistic pieces or to receive donations as is needed to continue their art, though are asked to recognize that art must be accessible to as wide an audience as possible to effect as many people as possible. This includes those who would otherwise not be able to afford to purchase art through larger corporations or established for-profit publishing/production/distribution companies. We reserve NO rights to works submitted to the Collection. We will support and promote artists and will hold a digital copy of all works in an archive, but beyond that all work submitted belongs to the artist. This section will be expanded upon and clarified after further consultation with our legal advisor. Submission requirements are currently under construction. We accept written work (fiction, no less than 250 words), visual work (single images or ongoing series accepted, any medium), musical work, and video work. Other mediums accepted upon request. All work must be peer edited or reviewed (as is appropriate for the piece), and all artists involved with the work must agree to the submission.
