Description

My name is Suzanne and I am the owner and founder of The True Coaching Company. I live in the middle of the countryside with my fiancée and our house cat Kiki Peeks! I am partial to the odd cappuccino and cake, who isn’t? I love spending time with my family and friends and I love the ‘Ideal Home’ magazine so much so I have it on monthly subscription! I’m at my happiest when I’m around people, chatting, shopping or doing any of the aforementioned! I’m a very organised person and can always be found with my rather retro Filofax in my handbag with one or two ‘to do’ lists on the go! For my thirty something years I have dealt with many of life’s challenges, haven’t we all, but they say what doesn’t kill you makes you stronger and I truly believe that there’s something in that. I’m a bubbly, positive and loyal person with a strong worth ethic. I was brought up with my family running their own successful independent business and at fifteen I was once given a very sound piece of advice from a very wise gentlemen ‘always work that little bit harder than everyone else Suzanne’. I have lived by this piece of advice every day and I do believe that it has served me well. My work has always been extremely important to me and I’ve been fortunate enough to have had a very successful career. Predominantly my background is sales and sales management and has been for the past thirteen years. Over the years I have worked for various companies from big multi-nationals to local, independent businesses. Would I describe myself as a ‘stereotypical’ salesy sales person? Absolutely not, I have spent the majority of my working life not ever wanting to be like that! Why did I train to become a coach? I’ve always enjoyed getting to know and working with people and having managed a large sales team it became clear to me that managing a team was more than just business, it was about taking the time to get to know them as individuals and understanding what makes them tick. My natural instinct is to help, support, motivate and encourage individuals to be the best they can be. This led me to go on and develop not only my management skills but to train and qualify as a personal and professional development coach. I wanted to take my life and work experience one step further and help others do the same. In a nutshell… I wanted to incorporate the things I enjoy most in my life in to my business, people, business, coaching, training, chatting and the occasional cappuccino and cake – what more could I ask for!
