Description

The Vale Clinic opened in 1986 and has grown steadily since then, year on year, drawing patients not only from the many villages in the Vale of Belvoir but also from nearby larger towns such as Nottingham, Leicester, Melton Mowbray, Grantham and Newark. The Vale Clinic treats not only private patients (who can self refer), but also many NHS patients - firstly, from the whole Rushcliffe area (on GP referral) and, secondly, patients referred by their GP through the Long Clawson Medical Practice. A significant number of other patients come either upon the direct recommendation of their Consultant or simply under their health insurance policy. Our physiotherapy team (9 practitioners) is both friendly and very effective, and is able to offer a wide range of physiotherapy and related specialist skills, including occupational health, acupuncture, neurology and Pilates. We believe in carrying out "hands on" treatment, wherever appropriate, following a careful, detailed assessment of each patient's condition - and we also provide patients with a printed, tailor made exercise programme to pursue at home. We treat a wide range of conditions and also offer an "MOT screening" service to help prevent the recurrence of problems. Since its inception in 1986, The Vale Clinic has continuously maintained an outstanding record of patient satisfaction.
