The Veterans Site

at 600 University St Suite 1000, Seattle , 98101 United States

www.TheVeteransSite.com - The mission of The Veterans Site is to help Veterans in need. Part of GreaterGood, aiding people, pets, & the planet. The Veterans Site was born out of the desire to spread the word that a disproportionate number of veterans are homeless, and to provide a way for everyone to help and honor those who have faithfully served our country and now need our support. Although veterans make up 8% of the overall population in the United States, according to a recent Department of Housing & Urban Development (HUD) study, 12% of the homeless population are veterans — 16% if you're counting adults only. The Veterans Site has partnered with charities across the nation to fund nutritious meals for these veterans, who selflessly served our country and have earned our respect and gratitude, and their families. GreaterGood strives to connect a passionate audience with simple online tools to make the world a better place. We turn your desire to make a difference into tangible, documented support for charities that help people, save pets, and improve the planet.
