After much speculation we are delighted to be able to announce that Castle Rock Brewery has taken over the Willowbrook Club and the premises will now be operated by Castle Rock. The Willowbrook has built up a fine reputation as a well run, friendly local club and over the years it has become a very important community facility sitting in the heart of Gedling. Castle Rock recognises that it is extremely important to retain the charm of the Willowbrook for the benefit of its customers and the wider locality; but also to provide the necessary investment to both update and nurture the Willowbrook in a sustainable and responsible way. You will see no major changes in 2013 because we wish to ensure that your existing Christmas and New Year bookings are not disrupted in any way; but we do intend to begin work behind the scenes straight away and then in early 2014 upgrade customer areas including dining room, function room and lounge as well as the toilets and outside areas in time for next spring. We apologise now for any inconvenience this may cause but we assure you that it will provide long term benefits to you and the premises. Castle Rock Brewery has a core of well-respected pubs in Nottingham and we have the desire and enthusiasm to work hard to earn your respect through our long term actions and ownership of the Willowbrook. We also intend to introduce a special discount to all existing club members since we value your loyal support and continued custom at the Willowbrook Club. I will become the manager on site and I’ll be more than willing to discuss any of your questions, concerns or indeed suggestions.
