A massive thank you to Jo from I Do Privilege Card and Emily and the team at The KP Club for all their hard work at today's fantastic wedding fair, plus all the exhibitors and lovely brides and grooms. We'll bring you images etc very soon!
Any lovely brides and grooms to be out there? There is a fantastic wedding fair taking place at the KP Club, Pocklington today, between 11-3pm, with all profits donated to us. Thank you so much to Jo from I Do Privilege Card who has worked so hard to organise this.
Can anybody recommend a good printing company whom we can order t-shirts and other items from for fundraising events please?
Don't forget that we are always looking for more people to grant wishes for. If you know anyone who is suffering a life threatening or terminal illness and you would like to nominate them, email us at email@example.com.
We are granting a number of wishes at the moment, but are always looking to bring a smile to more faces. If you know anybody who is suffering from a life threatening illness, you can nominate them for a wish to be granted. Email us at firstname.lastname@example.org for further details.
We've been very quiet recently as we work behind the scenes on new dates for fundraising events -we'll share them with you very soon. In the meantime, we'd like to wish the lovely Becci a very safe and exciting trip as she sets off today to climb Mount Kilimanjaro with proceeds going to little old us and The Great North Air Ambulance. Good luck Becci! Enjoy every moment and a massive thank you from us!
We will very soon be announcing a full calendar of fundraising events taking place in 2015 but we're continuously looking for great ideas and fun ways to raise money. Any suggestions then please comment below!
We've been a little quiet recently due to personal circumstances and I've thought long and hard about even mentioning this. Ironically, I have now been diagnosed with a life threatening disease of my own and I had to take some time to decide whether I was able to continue with The Wish Tree Foundation... but then I just thought back to what exactly it is all for and realised that I had no choice. There is nothing I want more than to continue to grant wishes for those who need them - I just may need a little extra help in achieving this as my treatment plan develops. So it is full steam ahead and to do that, I need your help! Please support us in any way you can - spread the word, host a fundraising event (or support one of ours), make a donation or offer your time and/or ideas. Every single pound that you donate will make a difference - we're currently liaising with a number of lovely people who we will be granting wishes for and we don't just have a magic wand to wave (although we are working on it!). We've got lots of news to announce in the next couple of days and we'll be sharing details of those selfless fabulous people who have recently raised funds on our behalf, but in the meantime, we'd love to hear of any ideas you have. Thank you. Allie xx
