A National Book festival held the third Sunday of September each year. The Word On The Street is a major, day-long festival held on the last Sunday of September, concurrently in Toronto, Kitchener, and Halifax, Saskatoon and Lethbridge. This year's festival takes place on Sunday, September 21, 2014, 11 AM - 5 PM in Downtown Saskatoon (23rd St & 4th Ave) in & around Civic Square. The Word On The Street is free and accessible to all sectors of the general public.
Saskatoon's 2016 festival takes place on Sunday, September 18th and will be held at the Civic Square around City Hall, in front of Frances Morrison Central Library. There is so much to see and do and the best part is all activities are free!

We are a non-profit organization that enables older adults (55+), seniors and physically challenged individuals to reside independently in their own homes.
We raise and rehabilitate orphaned and injured raccoons.
Providing homes for those in need. The Lighthouse is a non-profit organization providing emergency shelter, as well as transitional and long term housing. The Lighthouse serves a variety of clientele including those with mental health disorders, chronic addiction, FASD,acquired brain injury, physical, intellectual and cognitive disabilities, transitioning youth and low-income seniors. Our goal is to end homelessness in Saskatoon.
