Description

Dr. Boland specializes in tooth extractions, including wisdom teeth extractions, TMJ treatment and surgery, dental implants, orthognathic surgery, oral lesions, facial fractures, and cleft lip and palate surgery. We take digital x-rays, which can then be printed or emailed for your convenience. We can usually schedule within 2 weeks, or even sooner if you are experiencing pain. We accept most medical and dental insurances, including but not limited to: Blue Cross Blue Shield, Cigna, CMS, Humana, United Healthcare, Comp Benefits, Guardian, Safeguard, and United Concordia. If you don't see your insurance on this list, feel free to call the office for a more exhaustive list of insurances we accept. Dr. Boland is a board certified M.D. as well as a D.M.D. which allows us to utilize both medical and dental insurances in most cases. He recently completed his updates on basic life support (CPR) and advanced cardiac life support. Dr. Boland has been current on advanced cardiac life support since he was initially certified as a medical student in 1985. Dr. Boland is also a member of several prestigious medical organizations including: American Dental Association, American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, Florida Children’s Medical Service , Vanderbilt Medical Alumni Association, Penn State Alumni Association , West Coast Dental Society, Pinellas County Dental Society, All Children’s Hospital Cleft Palate Team and Advisory Committee, Florida Cleft Palate Association, American Society of Temporomandibular Joint Surgeons, American College of Oral Maxillofacial Surgeons, Florida Academy of Cosmetic Surgery.
