Sebastian Lang is the acting Threatened Species Commissioner in Australia’s Department of the Environment and Energy. He works with all levels of government, scientists, the non-profit sector, industry and the community to protect flora and fauna listed as threatened under national environment law. He helps coordinate conservation efforts by sharing information, brokering new partnerships and mobilising resources for species at risk.
