TRUE or FALSE? keeping baby awake all day they'll be tired by bedtime and it will be easier for them to fall asleep...

TRUE or FALSE?... Some children are just poor sleepers or simply don't require as much sleep as others and there isn't anything you can do to improve this...

Just received an awesome update from a client I had a couple months back :) ..."Hi Stephanie! Just dropping you a line to give you an update...I know its been a while but wanted to let you know how well J is now doing. When we finished up we were still working on the naps and the night wakings due to poor naps....well I am so happy to report we now have a very happy boy who has been having at least an hour nap at 9 and 1 (sometimes longer!!) and going to bed at 6:30 with no tears and sleeping a twelve hour stretch. Just wanted to thank you again for all you help!!!!"

Ahhh the lazy dog days of summer, hot weather and those long summer evenings. But with all the extra, glorious sun, your little one might have trouble falling asleep with the extra light flooding into their rooms. Keep in mind that it’s very important to block out this additional sunlight when it comes to sleepy time. Blackout blinds work great to make their rooms pitch black, but if you’re in a pinch or traveling, hanging blankets or black garbage bags work great too! :)

Latest testimonial from a previous client :)... "When our baby was 5 months old, we could no longer stand the sleep deprivation and we implemented a sleep plan on our own based on the reading we had done. This worked well at the time but after a few months, we were back to night wakings, skipping naps, etc. When we tried to go back to the plan we had created, it was no longer working. About 2 months ago, we reached out to Three Little Birds Sleep Solutions for help. We decided to go with a Sleep Transitions service since we already had some good practices in place, but we needed some changes to our plan and routine that we could not seem to figure out on our own. After a great phone consultation, we were sent a very clear plan based on what we were comfortable with and what would work best for our baby and our family. We immediately implemented the new plan and within a couple of days, we no longer had night wakings (and have no in the two months since!) and our baby went back to two very predictable naps a day. Having this plan has made setting up appointments and planning our days so much easier because we know exactly when she will be sleeping. Our baby is very happy when she is awake and is happy when put down at night or for naps. When we have spent nights out of town or had no choice but to be out during a normal sleep time, we knew just how to handle that and were able to get back on track with no issues. I would definitely recommend this service! I wish I had done it from the time we knew we needed to make changes at 5 months!"
