Everything arrived all at once! H&R London, Leg Avenue, The Pirate Dressing! We will be spending the day steaming, hanging and tagging :)
Still on seasonal hours this week Mon-Fri 12-7 and Sat 11-6. New stuff arriving later this week from Sourpuss Clothing and H&R London pin-up dresses :)
I find it interesting and incredibly annoying that we have a lot of 1 star reviews from people in foreign countries who have never been to the store or shopped on the website. I wish you had to actually check in the shop to be able to leave a review. It's pretty ridiculous that their useless reviews are counted along with actual customers.
Just put my Halloween orders in to get stocked up on some basic costume stuff, restocked all the corsets and added purple overbusts to the in-stock selection and added a bunch of new contacts styles :)
Seasonal hours start today! Until Halloween we will be open Mon-Fri 12-7 and Sat 11-6 :)
Looking for something to do today? Stop by the shop, grab a costume, and then head to AmeliaCon! www.AmeliaCon.com
Happy Labor Day! Next week (9/8) starts our seasonal hours which will be M-F 12-7 and Sat 11-6
Hope everyone who is heading to #DragonCon tomorrow has a safe and fun filled trip! The shop will be open regular hours this weekend :)
Freaking out over last minute #DragonCon prep? Remember we have Worbla! All sizes in stock and we ship FAST :) http://www.threemusesclothing.com/servlet/the-Worbla/Categories
For the first time since we've been open, we will be OPEN regular hours during DragonCon time (Labor Day weekend). And our seasonal hours start Sept. 15: Mon-Fri 12-7 and Sat. 11-6
Question for the Plus Size ladies- what is the best fitting costume company? One that runs true to size? We keep trying new places and finding their stuff to run too small. So far Leg Avenue's plus size costumes usually fit well, but they don't have a large selection. And Rubies costumes are frumpy and fall apart. And the new Dreamgirl stuff we just got in seems to run a size or two small.
We just got a big new order from DreamGirl in stock! New flapper dresses, 70s dresses, disco outfits for girls and guys PLUS Zoot Suits and Gangster Suits for the guys! All going on the site soon :)
Due to a more sudden than expected change in staffing, our hours are about to get weird. I'm going to be sticking to regular shop hours as much as possible but I have a lot of baby-related appointments in March since I'm approaching my due date. This week should be fine, but next week I'll be closing a little early Wednesday 2/25 and closed Saturday 2/28. When in doubt, just call the shop 260-5525.
A lot of people ask how long waist training takes to see results. We have a customer who started in October at a size 2X. She's been wearing it every day, during the day only, anywhere from 8-12 hours. She came in on Saturday and got a new corset in a size L. So the average reduction is about one size down every two months. (she went down two sizes in 4 months)
Just a little advance warning- if you have been thinking of getting something from the website, don't wait! All Three Muses online stuff- eBay, Etsy and ThreeMusesClothing.com will be temporarily closing April-May when we welcome the newest little muse to the family. However, the boutique will be open regular hours. (as of now- this too is subject to change)
