We have Urban Chestnut Brewing Co's Schnickelfritz on sale for $3. Which is to more accurately say: we have ONE UCBC Schnicklefritz on sale for $3. Come in tonight and have a direct impact on next week's inventory sheets, while enjoying good company and fare.
Back by popular demand, Single Speed from 4 Hands Brewing Company.
On Sunday, we'll open an hour early, to play host to Alton/STL expat Fritz Beer (ex-Bishops). Details: Hey Folks; I gotta admit I'm slightly embarrassed throwing my own happy hour, but if i could invite you all over to my house I would. So let's just call it a party. We have decided to meet at the Tick Tock Tavern (3459 Magnolia Ave, St. Louis, MO 63118), on Sunday, May 15th at 3 o'clock. I know some people can't make that, and I'm sorry. The proprietor of The Tick Tock, Thomas Crone, has agreed to open up an hour early so we have from 3pm to 6pm! This is kind of a Bishops/Fritz Beer Music listening party so the house will be playing Bishops, Punchy, Crown Vic, etc.........If anyone finds this offensive, just bear down and come out anyway. I'm not sure I can stand 3 hours of me, but I'm gonna try to work through it. Some of the Bishop boys have threatened to show up, so come out and see some old friends. It's gonna be fun! - (please forward this to anyone else who might be interested) L, fb

Think we're going to put America in the time-out corner. See ya in November, Bud.
Ellis Paul played the bar twice in a one day recently, including a kiddie matinee. It was a pleasure hosting him. Also, we've enjoyed seeing a recent tour vlog of his. It's featuring the Tick Tock, which, along with the Gateway Arch, is among the best places to stop when in St. Louis.
My dad, Tom Combs owned the Tick Tock in the 70's. He lived upstairs for a few years. I'll look for some old pictures. It was a very lively place at that time. So happy to see it open!
Two weeks from today, we'll be hosting this event. Via organizer Tim Jordan. Please share! We need cords! Instrument cables, power cords, speaker cables, batteries, pedals, tuners, all goofball cords/electronics as well, please! We've almost got a full band set up for South City's Fanning Middle School. They only had a Trumpet... As we raised the instruments (we still need a bass guitar) I realized that we had no cords and were missing some power cords so Tick Tock came through for the "Cordraiser". Please donate any extra cords you may have and spread the word to your musician friends. I'm also taking cash donations for any odd cords we might need to buy. We're also taking keyboards, guitars, drums, speakers and any other musical equipment. Any extra will go to Play It Forward or any other city school in need. Thank you!!
Favorite bar in town whether the Blues are playing or not but when they are it remains my favorite spot to watch the blues game!
Like sours? New to our shelves tonight is Half Pipe Sour Pale Ale from Tallgrass Brewing Company.
We might not plug this enough, but every Tuesday, from open-close, we sell Tallgrass Brewing Company products for the nice price of $4. Right now, we've got 8 Bit and Vanilla Bean Buffalo Sweat on shelves. Come out to the Vandeventer listening party tonight and enjoy one, or two, Tallgrass products.
Cool music to be had at the bar tomorrow night:
How could we not stock this delightful offering from CoMo's Logboat Brewing Company? LOOK, IT'S AN OWL BEER!!!
Okay, we are going sound ON for the game this evening, with musical interludes during intermissions. Yay, team!
Our new musical tradition's back tomorrow, with an appearance by Brothers Lazaroff, sponsored by Urban Chestnut Brewing Co. As always, 6:30-8:00's the time slot and (while the show's free) it's always hip to tip.
Another day, another great concert at Tick Tock Tavern Thank you, Justin Roberts.
Today's Justin Roberts concert at Tick Tock Tavern is SOLD OUT. Our next "@Musical Merry-Go Round welcomes..." concert is June 11 featuring Farmer Jason. Advance tickets available now at http://farmerjason.brownpapertickets.com/
Playing host to Ellis Paul for the next hour, then it's bad to normal business. Drink freely on our patio 'til then, if in the neighborhood.
We have Ellis Paul booked for a pair of shows at the Tick Tock Tavern this weekend: a kid-friendly show at 2 p.m. tomorrow and an all-growed-up version at 6 p.m. We will clear the house for that second show; only ticket-holders allowed. If you know folks potentially interested, please let them know, as we still have some tickets available to each gig. Details in the comments for each.
Over the past almost eight years of Musical Merry-Go-Round, we've been fortunate to have Ellis Paul visit us in studio almost every year. Here's a collection of a few of his instudio performances. and, if you haven't heard yet, Ellis will be in St. Louis Saturday 4/23 for a 2pm family concert and 6pm "grownups" concert at Tick Tock Tavern. One new beer, one with a new design. The Old Bakery Beer Company Boulevard Brewing Company
Heard that Ellis Paul was playing two shows at the Tick Tock Tavern this Saturday?
Are you guys hosting a democratic debate watch party tonight? Thank you!
So it seems that buying one case of City Wide APA from 4 Hands Brewing Company was a little bit unambitious, as the whole case was sold well-before close last night. OKAY. We hear you. More on the way. Wow. Yikes. Got it. Yes.
