Tire swings represent to me many of the things I hope to offer, and experience, through my work – freedom, fresh air, the eternal spirit of our childhood, repurposing and so much more. My items are, to the greatest extent possible, made from local, organic or natural & spray-free ingredients and repurposed or recycled materials.

General Info

Whether I’m crafting herbal salves, hand-pouring beeswax, or transforming rovings of wool into quirky ornaments or funky bodum cozies, I’m doing it passionately. I’m wild about creating and sharing and committed to using materials and ingredients that are good for people and for our planet. I believe that most times simpler is better. I grow, forage or source the most natural ingredients possible and make skincare, body and bath products that are calming, soothing and beneficial. From local beekeepers I purchase pure, golden beeswax that I use in many of my body products and to make candles, luminaries and decorative bowls. A local sheep farm provides the beautiful rovings that I use in the meditative art of needle felting. Additionally, I repurpose fabrics and found objects, turning them into unique pieces and am always looking to try something new.
