Quick update! Registration is now going to start at 8:30, briefings at 8:45 and contests will start at 9:00.
The combined Division A & B speech and evaluation contest will be held tomorrow in Perrysburg at the First Presbyterian Church located at 200 E. 2nd Street (corner of Elm & 2nd). Registration starts at 9am with both contests beginning at 9:30am. Ed McNeal and Germano Bressan are competing. You are welcome and encouraged to attend and cheer on your fellow Toastmasters and hear some great inspirational speeches!

Mark your calendars for this Saturday, April 27th. Toledo Club Toastmasters member Ed McNeal is eligible to participate in the District Spring Contest at the Westin Hotel in Southfield, MI, based on his Division contest placement! Ed finished first out of six contestants in the International Speech Contest Fellow club member Zach McClish finished second out of five contestants in the Evaluation Contest at the Division level.

We are looking for a lectern and flip chart for our club - used is fine. Please check around in your attic, garage and basement to see if you have one you can donate to our club- or if your company has one they are not using that they would be willing to donate. We are also willing to purchase a used lectern and flip chart!

The District 28 Spring Conference is at the Westin Hotel in Southfield, Michigan on Friday, April 25 and Saturday, April 26. Germano Bressan will be competing in the District Evaluation Contest on Friday evening, while Ed McNeal will be competing in the International Speech Contest on Saturday afternoon.
