The Toledo Digital Media Club is an extra-curricular club activity offered to middle and high school students that live in the Toledo area. The clubs mission is to train students to be TV news reporters for their community. Students cover events and announcements for non-profits, charities, community organizations and local businesses. Students are also welcome to produce public service announcements and documentary shorts on the topics of interest to them. Digital Media Clubs are common on college campuses and now the middle and high school students of Toledo can become a member of a DMC as well. Digital Media Communications is a fast-growing field and membership in the Toledo Digital Media Club will help students receive the training and experience they need to give them an advantage in college admissions and career opportunities.
