Do you know what a semaphore is or what a callbox is used for? At the Toledo Police Museum both these items are on display for you to see and learn the history of. The Toledo Police Museum is located at 2201 Kenwood Boulevard in beautiful Ottawa Park. Visitors to the museum can follow a timeline of the history of the Toledo Police Department, view a collection of historical artifacts and participate in many interactive exhibits, which include a mock jail cell, a replica 1948 Ford wagon and having your mug shot photo taken from a 1920’s era booking camera. We welcome bus tours and special events. If you need to schedule a tour outside of normal hours please contact the museum at 419-720-2485 or by email at toledopolicemuseum@gmail.com. The phone is not manned throughout the week, please leave a message and a volunteer will return your call during our hours of operation. We will make every attempt to accommodate tours outside normal hours of operation, however the museum is manned through the dedication of volunteers. Admission to the museum is free of charge. But donations are always welcome and appreciated.
