Have you heard of UNDISCLOSED? On June 23rd, TSA's newest fundraiser presents the work of over 130 artists in a fun and fast 'art dash' format. The $100 ticket gets a couple in the door, and provides entertainment and hors d'oeuvres alongside a raffle ticket number. Guests are called to the gallery walls in the order of the number they've chosen, and given just 30 seconds to select an original 12"x12" artwork of their choice. Pieces are signed only on the back, adding an exciting surprise element when you find out the artists behind your favorites - many of whom will be in attendance that evening! All of the pieces featured here have been created for this year's show. Like what you see? Buy a ticket today* at www.undisclosed.eventbrite.com. * Today, and we aren't kidding! We can only sell as many tickets as we have pieces of artwork, and promise that this event absolutely will sell out!
The Class of 2016 is off to do great things, and we wish them the best! Thanks to Mrs. Henderson, enjoy this quick photo recap of Saturday's ceremony. So proud of these new additions to our growing TSA Alumni group!

What an inspiring story! Check out this link to Flypaper Magazine, which featured TSA Class of 2009's Skyla Johnson yesterday. The grad is making incredible strides as a social worker by day and baking entrepreneur by night. At the forefront of Skyla's energy and drive is Drake, her 5-year-old son and main priority. From the article... "Her everyday inspiration that she tucks in at night and sees every morning, is her son, Drake. In remembering what kept her going in college and even now is reminding herself that if she couldn’t do it for Skyla, she had to do it for Drake. “My baby is my number one supporter. He loves my business more than me.” Drake often brags about his mother’s creations, because his mommy’s cupcakes are the “best”." Congrats Skyla, and best of luck building your brand! [Located in the Columbus area? Congratulate Skyla in person at Suga Pie Cupcakes launch party, happening June 25th at Wild Goose Creative, 2491 Summit Street! Details at bottom of article.]

Just for TSA Alumni… Call for Artists TSA’s Visual Arts Outreach team has been approached to create a number of commissioned artwork and murals throughout summer 2016, and our students could use some help! If you are a TSA grad with visual arts experience and are looking for a fun, fulfilling and creative summer gig, we may have a paying job for you! The schedule might be crazy and the pace hectic, but hey – isn’t that how you fondly remember your days here at TSA anyway? Again - this is a paying gig offering minimum wage for hours engaged! Interested? Fill out the quick form at link below by Monday, May 30th! https://docs.google.com/forms/d/1s6hczdH6HdGmzKjjBS7l6wF7V564PozrZz0rIKomlNU/viewform Ms. Taylor will review those responses, contact qualified alumni, and then schedule an informational meeting to provide you further details. After that? Alumni will be chosen, and a summer work schedule formed based on student and grad availability. While this is not a full-time job, Ms. Taylor is willing to offer as many hours to each alumni as the projects allow! TSA is excited to extend this invitation for the first time. As Ms. Taylor says, “It's a great problem to have more work than helping hands for the first time!”
