Description

We produce high quality food with the lowest possible environmental impact. To do this we source our ingredients as locally as possible, make our products in the heart of Bristol and deliver them via a zero emissions vehicle – a bicycle! Our first product to hit the streets of Bristol is the famous Pastel de Nata, commonly known as Portuguese Custard Tart. This was a natural choice due to half of the Tooga duo being Portuguese and missing her homely treats! We have taken this legendary tart and translated it into a truly South West affair, sourcing over 70% of the ingredients from within 50 miles of Bristol. We even make the butter puff pastry from scratch and have bought the true Pastel de Nata tins from a factory in Portugal to ensure it is the most authentic product available. Tooga’s Tart Cart will be around Bristol from the 5th July onwards.
