Toowoomba Kettlebells is the Facebook page for Today's Health and Fitness Pty Ltd - Toowoomba's home of kettlebells and real functional strength training! How can you benefit from training with us? I believe that it is everyone's birthright to move well - this means being able to get down onto the floor and get up off the floor; to be able to play like a kid and enjoy movement! It is the birthright of humans to be strong mentally and physically. Eating well is part of the equation as well. So is keeping a clear mind. Our Mission Statement: To Educate, Inspire and Empower people to move well, eat well and live healthy lives. Much of the process here is to educate you into how your body works. This is a gradual process - your body will adapt in its own time - I'd like to help you to through this process! A little bit about me: I am a Sports Scientist and an Exercise Physiologist - a tertiary trained allied health professional, registered with MediCare. As an allied health professional my focus is on preventing injury and increasing your mobility; stability; and strength. My background includes 19 years of working in the area of injury rehabilitation; 20 years of sport specific training with elite level sports people (including Olympic athletes; professional rugby teams; and high level netball); and having been a world class athlete myself. Looking forward to seeing you and helping you to move like a human!
