The Toowoomba Startup Group invites new business Startups, tech entrepreneurs, designers, web gurus, app developers, freelancers and anyone who has an idea they'd like to develop into a business, to come and meet regularly and share, collaborate and grow the Startup community in Toowoomba and on the Darling Downs. Check out our events page on Facebook for details. Home for the Toowoomba Startup group is Canvas Coworking Inc. We are looking for new and early stage businesses in Toowoomba and the Darling Downs that are in the process of starting up and would like to gain the benefits of being involved in a Startup Community network. We are also inviting Tech and Marketing style businesses to engage with the group to network, mentor and expand their own reach. At the Toowoomba Startup Group meetings members will have the opportunity to discuss new business ideas and how you can develop them further and test their viability, look for assistance in finding co-founders, Meet members who can help with apps, websites, new technology, marketing, social media etc. It is expected that the Toowoomba Startup Group will meet fortnightly. Once a month we will have guest speakers who will speak about subjects such as financing a business, intellectual property law, business accounting, social media, marketing and more, across subjects that are of interest to new and growing Startups. The founder of the TSG David Masefield is also planning to start a Collaborative Workspace.
