Congratulations to our Crawford Omega Senior Boys for making it to the OFSAA tournament for the second year in a row. Pain Court, Ontario was the site of the 2015 Ontario Boys "A" Basketball Championship. Following their TDCAA boys "A" championship win, they were excited to play in the OFSAA Championships held March 9-11, 2015. Our first game was against Algonquin Secondary School from North Bay. They out worked us and defeated us by a score of 69-46. Our top scorer was Christian Bentley with 20pts. In our second game we faced North Middlesex High School from the Thames area. Our team was ready and after a sluggish start won the game by a score of 68-45. Once again Christian Bentley led the team with 16 pts with Muhizi Rutembesa following closely with 15 pts while Kyle Bharath scored 12 pts. We made it to the quarter finals. Our opponent was the team that beat us last year in the quarter finals, the team seeded #1 in the tournament. The coaches preached hard work and hustle, but again we were sluggish in the first quarter and were losing by 15 pts at the end of the first quarter. We came within 9 pts but lost by 65-50 score. Christian Bentley led the team with 30 pts. Great job by our coaches, Lloyd Lawrence and Sheldon James, who have given their time and talents to the team and our school for many years. Thank you everyone for a great year! Donald Coleman CAA Athletics Director
