The Toronto School of Circus Arts will be hosting a free workshop for professional aerialist who would like the opportunity to work on our new high speed flying system... this system is rated for a capacity of 200lbs at a travel speed of 30ft. per second or 400 lbs @ 15ft per second (variable speeds) this is also the same system used for all of the cirque du soleil shows. so if you would like to be considered, please submit your request and experience to decker@torontocircus.com This workshop is only for artists who have a minimum of 5 years experience on aerial equipment and are professional career artists. Dates and time to be set.

Specifically designed for actors, singers, dancers and acrobats looking to strengthen their performance curriculum vitae—don’t miss out on the chance to become diverse in the areas of aerial apparatus and acrobatics! Catered to all levels of ability, this workshop presents an amazing opportunity to explore and acquire new skills, as well as refine and enhance existing ones. The goal of our workshop is to transform you into a marketable performer; promising to facilitate the development of physical skills known to be in demand by artistic companies around the world. PROGRAM DETAILS SEPTEMBER Workshop Dates: September 8th-October 3rd, 2014 NOVEMBER Workshop Dates: November 3rd-November 28th, 2014 (1) Aerial Component: Aerial Silks, Web, Aerial Hoop/Lyra, Aerial Net, Aerial Cube, Straps, Static Trapeze Days: Monday to Friday Hours/Day: 1pm - 6pm Total hours for the workshop: 100 Total Aerial Fee: $800 CDN + HST (2) OPTIONAL Ground & Acrobatics Component: If you register for the aerial component, you have the option to also take part in our evening classes for the duration of the workshop (tumbling, flexibility, handstands and muscle conditioning).
