Tour Restrings is a personal stringing service for tennis players by a UKRSA Certified Professional Stringer located in the heart of Hampshire.

Description

In 2005, Tom Neale was given a stringing machine and underwent training with the former Head Stringer for the Wimbledon Championships; Ray Gooden. Tour Restrings; formerly known as Tom's Tennis Restrings; was established in January 2006 and began as a small local service for friends and players from the various clubs within Hampshire. Over the years, Tom developed great PR with many players at beginner, intermediate and advanced levels of tennis and by July 2008 Tom was celebrating stringing his 1000th racket. In September 2009, Tour Restrings invested in electric machines allowing business to expand. He got great customer feedback and satisfaction. By the end of 2009, Tom was restringing for players of all ages at county and national level as well as ATP and Seniors World ranked players. While maintaining a steady business, Tom completed 2 and a half years at Brunel University where he studied Human Performance in Sport Science giving him a greater understanding of player' performance and how best to treat common sporting injuries such as 'Tennis Elbow' by simply making adjustments to a player's strings. In February 2014, Tom completed a UKRSA Professional Stringer course making him more experienced and knowledgeable about strings than ever before.
