Description
Townsend Tennis Club boasts eight courts - three brand new all weather Euroclay courts, three astroturf 6 and two all weather porous acrylic, all of which are playable all year round. Three courts are also floodlit and are switched on from dusk until 10 p.m. The club has 7 men's teams and 5 ladies teams who play in the Herts league, a Watford & District Mixed team, three Herts Hot Rackets teams and a full range of Teams competing in Winter Veteran's leagues. So, if you are interested in playing competitive tennis, then Townsend is an excellent place to be. Townsend also have excellent tennis coaching facilities with an LTA affiliated coach who is based at the club, and has a coaching team to help.
