Description

In the spirit of Transformus, Alchemy and The Burningman, Tranquility Base is open to all members of our community. Tranquility Base is located deep in the Sumter National Forest adjacent to the Broad River where we can take kayak, canoe and enjoy leisurely inter-tube floats seasoned with folly. Tranquility Base is a small venue that can accommodate about 200 participants comfortably. There is a new bath house on the property, plenty of shelter from the summer storms and a covered outdoor communal kitchen that doubles as a stage for bands and DJs. We have a pond behind the property and private camping areas away from all the mayhem that usually accompanies our events. There is potable water on the property along with limited outside power for DJs, bands and happy campers. There are no sound restrictions but lets be considerate of our fellow campers that don't want to party till dawn. Tranquility Base is closed mid September due to hunting season, we sure as heck don't want anyone to be shot or piss off the hunters, there are 9 hunt camps within a 5 mile radius of the Base. Tranquility Base re-opens in February for a cold weather burn and we several events planned for the spring and summer months ... any suggestions?
