Our Company Tropho is a prefix that comes from the Greek language, simply meaning, “to nourish”. We work in the capacity to inspire individuals to make healthier choices for themselves in all aspects of their lives. Through informative articles, recipes, products, workshops and research, we make living an optimal life easily attainable for anyone that has a desire to make better choices for themselves and those around them. Our Founder It may have started in her childhood when she read a first aid manual at the age of 7 from cover to cover, or in her teens when she completed her friend’s meal planning assignments for a high school Food and Nutrition class (that she wasn’t even in) for fun, or having an 8 year long career helping to run a juice and smoothie bar starting at 17, but somewhere in her life our founder Allanah Canal knew she was going to pursue a fulfilling career centered in health and wellness. At the age of 20 she made the decision to focus on building a successful career, and began pursuing formal education. Earning her Certified Nutritional Practitioner designation, she graduated from the Institute of Holistic Nutrition in 2012, the Academy of Culinary Nutrition in 2013, and began her postgraduate studies in Herbal Medicine in 2015. Allanah is devoted to continue learning how to better promote health for everyone in all aspects of life, as easily and affordably as possibly. In her downtime, you will probably find Allanah restaurant hunting, watching the Golden Girls or taking a long relaxing bath (and likely testing out new formulations while she’s at it). Tropho is proud to have launched our bath and body care line, Dermis by Tropho, in 2016. Our next division, Tropho: Juice & Smoothie Bar, is set to launch in Summer 2017! Dermis by Tropho Dermis by Tropho was born out of a love between bath and body care and an aspiration to create products that provided nourishment and hygiene while exciting and tantalizing the senses. In addition to our exclusive product line, we create custom bath and body care products for our clients using simple, natural and botanically based ingredients. Our products include (but are not limited to) soap, scrubs, bath salts, body butters, and bath bombs.
