True Potential PLLC provides comprehensive speech and language therapy, occupational therapy and life skills training for Individuals with Autism and related pervasive developmental disorders. We educate families and other professionals about research-based intervention practices designed to improve our clients’ quality of life. True Potential PLLC was founded by licensed speech language pathologists who perceived a demand for a comprehensive approach addressing the needs of individuals with pervasive developmental disorders and their families. We provide services to families and school districts in Tucson, Arizona.
Through our work and experience in working with individuals with Autism, we can provide comprehensive treatment addressing the needs the family as a whole. Consistent with experimental research in this area (Lovaas, 1987; Sallows & Graupner, 1999), our treatment follows parent training models in which families are trained to carry out therapeutic activities designed to improve children’s quality of life (Greenspan & Wieder, 1997). Additionally, research and knowledge in the areas of language and social development are used in the development of treatment designs, in order to maintain, as well as assist in the development of functional goals and outcomes.
